Modern Slavery Statement 2026

ProTech Legal Ltd is a Scottish law firm. We are not required to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, because our turnover is below the threshold. We publish this statement voluntarily, because we oppose slavery and human trafficking in all their forms.

Our business and suppliers
We are a small firm. Our main suppliers provide software and IT services (including case management, telephone, email and cloud services), legal cashiering, search and registration services, and professional services such as accountancy and banking. Most are based in the UK. Some of our software providers are based in other countries with strong employment and human rights protections.

Our assessment
Given the nature of our work and the suppliers we use, we consider the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains to be low.

What we do

  • We choose established, reputable suppliers, and we consider modern slavery when appointing new ones.

  • Where a supplier is required to publish a modern slavery statement, we review it.

  • We check that anyone working for us has the right to work in the UK.

  • Anyone, inside or outside the firm, can raise a concern about modern slavery with us in confidence at info@protechlegal.co.uk

We will review this statement each year.
